We install Linux on your Laptop

Mail your laptop to us and we will install Linux for you. This service includes all of the following:

• Advice for choosing the Linux distribution that fits your needs
• Operating system installation
• Return shipping
• Technical support for the lifetime of the device

There are hundreds of Linux "flavors" called distributions. We offer three options:

1. Linux Mint - Intuitive design; easiest transition from Windows (Recommended)
2. Pop!_OS – Built for STEM and creatives; refined interface and full of features
3. Ubuntu - Feature-rich with excellent documentation

Note: We do not offer dual-boot installation with MS Windows.

Step 1: Understand your laptop is getting a big makeover

Before proceeding, it's important to understand how installing a new operating system will affect your laptop.

• Due to the nature of this service, we do not provide a warranty
• Any personal data on the device will be erased; we are not responsible for lost data
• Any remaining manufacturer's warranty may or may not be honored
• While it is rare, some laptop components (i.e. backlit keyboard, camera, function buttons, audio controls, biometric sensors, etc) may have partial or no functionality

Step 2: Agree with our Terms of Service

By selecting this service, you agree Privacy Mint, LLC (dba DigitalPrivacy.Shop) will not be liable or have any responsibility of any kind for loss or damage that you incur in the event of any failure. This includes the loss of data contained therein, or the services offered thereby available to you, or from any other cause relating to the services performed, whether or not the circumstances giving rise to such cause may have been within the control of DigitalPrivacy.Shop.

Step 3: Pay for the service

Add this item to your cart and checkout. During checkout, in the comments section, include the operating system you want installed, the brand, model, and model number (i.e. Dell Latitude 7400) of your laptop. 

Once your order is placed, we will send you instructions to prepare the laptop for shipment. 

Note: If you have any doubt whether your laptop is compatible with one of the Linux distributions, it is best to contact us first and we will confirm that for you. Price includes all taxes and fees.
