Hardware: Nothing Phone debuted its first phone July 16, 2022, with a design philosophy centered around transparency, minimalism and visual communication, through its now infamous Glyph Interface. The transparent back panel features 900 individual LEDs in five zones. It gives visual feedback for charging, notifications, ringtones, and as camera fill light.

Nothing Phone (1) features a Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon (6nm) chipset with 8 GB of system memory and 256 GB of storage. The 6.55-inch display is 120Hz OLED, 1080x2400 pixels (402 PPI), and constructed from Gorilla Glass 5. The back-mounted camera group includes a 50MP wide-angle lens and 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front-facing camera features a 16MP f/2.5 wide-angle lens. The 4500 mAh battery supports wired charging up to 33W and wireless charging up to 15W. Worth noting, the phone features a dual micro-SIM port. The standard USB-C port is used for charging and data communication.
